**If you fancy getting yourselves off to an energetic start to the week, then don't forget Joe Wicks is live on YouTube with a bonus PE lesson at 9am if you fancy joining in!**

Lesson 1 - Maths

This week we are looking at division and the methods around dividing a 2-digit number by a single digit. We will be using base ten and place value counters to explore this concept.

Group 1 - Watch the first 4 minutes of the video. Stop the video at 04:00 and have a go at your worksheet.

Group 2 - Watch the whole video and complete your worksheet.

Divide 2-digits by 1 digit

Work through the activities in the video before having a go at your worksheet.

Lesson 2 - Reading

Read 'Layers of the Rainforest' and answer the questions in full sentences.

Lesson 3 - English

Mrs C - 'The Secret of Black Rock' - Lesson 3. Start the video at 07:50 and work through the session. The thinking side template and the writing side support sheet are below. If you have a thesaurus at home - have this next to you to help you think of some vocabulary ideas to support your writing.

Jane Considine's Live Lessons - The Secret of Black Rock - Sentence Lesson 3

Start playing at 07:50.

Lesson 4 - Spellings

1. Get an adult to test you on last week's word list and send your score to Mr Tatlow via dojo.

2. Complete the activity sheet below for your new word list. Mrs Richardson's group can skip this step.

3. Practise your spelling list using either Spelling Shed or another strategy. Other strategies you have used in class include: pyramid writing; Look, say cover, write, check and using different colours to split the words in to syllables. Can you think of a sentence for each pair of homophones to show you understand the difference in their meaning?

Lesson 5 - Computing

Last week you started practising your touch typing skills. This week you are going to have another go at these activities on Purple Mash. Make sure your fingers are hovering correctly over the keyboard and you use the correct fingers to type with. Look back at your accuracy and point scores from last week and see if you can beat them this week! The instructions and score sheets are below.
