To all of the Reception children and their families,
As we begin our summer term. This is a time where we would normally be taking part in a number of fun activities and preparing for your transition to Year 1.
This term might also be a little unusual as some of you will be returning to us very soon in small ‘bubbles’. If your child will be attending then we ask that you discuss this with them in order to prepare them for some of the changes. A link to the story about Bubbles is a good way to explain how things might be a little different to young children.
For those who remain at home, the teachers will continue to set weekly home tasks for all of the children to complete and will continue to upload these and any resources to the school website. If your child is remaining at home is would be lovely to see some messages or photographs of what they are getting up to on Tapestry or Dojo.
All of the staff are really missing the children and we are really looking forward to a time when we can all be back together safely. Until then here are some lovely videos which can help us to think of each other and how we can show love for each other even in this difficult time 'While we Can't Hug' and 'Olaf - I am with you.' (Click the you tube links below).
As we are back in school we will aim to reply to messages after school.

Below is the week by week guide to home learning. We have put a whole variety of resources including photographs, power points, games, worksheets etc. We are not expecting you to complete all this work, it is there for you to choose which activities best suit your child.
We will upload activities each week. Maths and Literacy are for all the children, the phonic/sound work is split into specific groups.
Topmarks is a great website for number games and activities. Here is the link.
