Rhyming work

Lots of story books have rhyming text in them so are a great way of introducing the children to rhyme they can predict what word might come next in the story as you read with them. Julia Donaldson and  Jez Alborough books are particularly good for rhyme!
We love a bit of 'Jack Hartman' singing in Nursery, they are very catchy as you may remember from the syllables songs! Warning it is American so some words can be a unusual to us but.... it works! It's a great way for the children to start rhyming as they sing along!
