Lesson 1 - Maths
Today you will draw together the skills from the previous two recap lessons on pictograms and complete the Year 3 objective to draw and interpret pictograms. You must ensure you have completed the previous two lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday before attempting today's activity. There is no video today because you should now be familiar with how pictograms work so both groups just need to complete the activity sheet below. Remember to look at they key so you know 'how many' each symbol represents.
Lesson 2 - Reading
Read 'Sheep Thief Behind Bars' and answer the questions.
Lesson 3 - English
Today, you can have some fun playing a series of vocab ninja mini games, which are word and sentence-level games on the website below. There are 5 different games for you to play:
- Synonym Stars
- World of Words
- Sentence Samurai
- Magic Verbs
- Vocab Lab
Have a go at each one and see if you can sharpen your word and sentence-level skills to become a vocab ninja!!!
Lesson 4 - Science
Today's lesson builds on our previous learning around different types of skeletons and naming bones. In this lesson, we explore the three functions of a skeleton: protection, support and movement. You will need to re-watch the video from the end of last week's lesson on the web link below and then work through the PowerPoint before completing both of the activities. You will need coloured pencil crayons for Activity 1.
Story Time - Beetle Boy
Sit back and enjoy chapter 19 of 'Beetle Boy' with Miss Glover.
Don't forget to email a selection of your work from this week to our class email address:
Mr Tatlow will post a video tomorrow with shout-outs and announce who have become our 'Home-Learning' stars of the week! Will it be you?
