At St Monica’s, our Laudato Si’ Eco Club puts our Catholic faith into action by caring for God’s wonderful creation. Inspired by Pope Francis’ message in Laudato Si’, our pupils recognise that we all have a responsibility to protect our common home and treat the world around us with love, respect and compassion.

Our Eco Club members take on important leadership roles, encouraging others to make environmentally friendly choices and leading initiatives that help our school become more sustainable. They raise awareness of environmental issues, promote recycling, care for our school grounds and inspire others to protect the natural world. Through these opportunities, children develop confidence, teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility for the future of our planet.

Guided by our school mission and the example of St Monica, our Laudato Si’ Eco Club reminds us that we are all cherished members of God’s family. Through their leadership, actions and enthusiasm, our young environmental stewards help us to love, learn and grow together, caring for creation and one another as we live out our faith each day.
