Nursery Applications
The closing date for Nursery applications is the 15th January to be considered for a place in the September intake for that year. We offer part time places (morning 9.00am to 12.00pm or afternoon 12.30pm to 3.30pm) and full time places (9.00am -3.30pm) subject to being eligible for the 30 hours funding. There is an additional half termly charge incurred for full time places to cover hours your child attends our Nursery that is over the 30 hours funding. Further information is provided on acceptance of a full time place. A school application form, proof of address and copy of baptism certificate (if applicable) must be provided to school to support your application by the 15th January. Any applications received after this date will be considered once all on time applications have been reviewed and places offered/accepted. We only accept Catholic Baptism certificates and these must be dated prior to the 15th January of the intake year you are applying for. We do offer a January intake however this is subject to availability and is reviewed each year.
If we are able to offer your child a place in our Nursery, you will be contacted by email in February.
Reception Applications
The closing date for Reception applications is the 15th January to be considered for a place in the September intake for that year. A school application form, proof of address and copy of baptism certificate (if applicable) must be provided to school to support your application.

Open Day - Nursery and Reception 2027
We are pleased to invite families to our Open Day for children who are eligible to start Nursery or Reception in September 2027.
This is a wonderful opportunity to visit our school, meet our staff and find out more about life at our school. You will have the chance to look around our classrooms and learning environment, including our brand-new Early Years department, and ask any questions about your child starting school/nursery.

Places at our Open Days are limited so booking is essential. To reserve your place, please email the school office at office@stmonicasrc.co.uk
When booking please provide your name, telephone number, how many people will be attending, the year group they are applying for and your preferred date.
